Purpose


The Administration Officer will be responsible for the provision of timely and professional administrative support to staff within the Prevention, Strategy & Planning division with a high focus on data administration.


Key accountabilities:


  • Provide administrative support to the team, focusing on data entry, database management, processing source documents for data deficiencies and document management including analysis
  • Provide assistance to the team in assessment, entry and processing of source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, maintaining accuracy and data integrity
  • Enters data to protect sensitive and confidential materials
  • Sorts, filters and analyses data activities of sensitive nature
  • Provide assistance, information and procedural advice to internal and external stakeholders. Record interactions with external stakeholders accurately in file notes

About you
You are an inspiring data/admin professional who has the ability to work autonomously prioritise and exercise discretion.

Your written and verbal communication skills are highly developed, and your strong stakeholder management skills provide you with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders.


Additionally you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to meet strict timeframes and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated experience providing administration support in an environment of internal and external stakeholder pressures
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills, including good verbal and written communication, the ability to develop positive relationships and manage conflict
  • An effective team member, with the capacity to deal with a wide range of responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as required
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, in particular Access, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, MS Teams, Powerpoint and Word.

Qualifcations

  • A qualification in administration or equivalent and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
