About the Position:


This position is pivotal in managing and enhancing our urban forest through advocacy, strategy development and implementation and delivery of operational and capital works programs to ensure that we exceed our tree canopy target of 30% by 2040.


About you:

Passionate and knowledgeable in urban forest and city greening practices

An experienced people leader with a growth mindset

Demonstrated and diverse knowledge of managing large tree populations in a public setting

A proven track record managing large service contracts and delivery of city greening projects

Driven to exceed customer expectations


Requirement of the position:

A tertiary (minimum Diploma level) qualification in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, or related qualification with extensive and diverse experience

Current Victorian Drivers Licence

Employee Working with Children's Check

Satisfactory National Police Check; and

Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
