We are looking for multiple Agility Coaches to work within our Agility Practice focussing on our 'Support Units' (SU's).

You will be deployed across the various SU's and work with their relevant stakeholders ensuring their successful transition to the Agile Ways of Working.

Overall, the Agility Practice are looking to fill a number of positions based in Sydney.

As an
Agility Coach you will play an integral part contributing to agility transformation at CBA driving exceptional outcomes for our customers and our people.


Working within and across business units you will support and enable our teams and their leaders to develop and implement agile practices and values; and help instil a culture of continuous improvement and learning.


You are a systems thinker who promotes business agility and have an elevated level of empathy for those you coach.

You provide thought leadership, coaching, mentoring, and support capability uplift across various levels of the organisation and can work in a team of other coaches.


You have tools and techniques to create a culture of continuous improvement and learning resulting in exceptional outcomes for our customers and business.


Additionally, as an
Agile Coach , you will play an integral role contributing to designing and implementing a successful agile transformation at an organisational level, working across departments, developing leaders, and extending agility across the enterprise to enable the vision and strategic goals for the Commonwealth Bank.

You will strategically guide, coach, and mentor leaders, teams and the organisation to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and learning in a regulatory environment, resulting in exceptional outcomes for our business.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Experience in hands-on coaching, including advanced proficiency in coaching skills and ability to uplift others
  • Prior experience in working on transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated ownership and proficiency in your craft including a deep understanding and ability to coach agile practices, principles, thinking and leading
  • Experience coaching at scale and transforming individuals, squads, crews and lines of business
  • Exceptional relationship management, partnering and influencing skills
  • Experience establishing and embedding metrics and diagnostics for coaching and squad maturity and success
  • Experience providing people and capability leadership
  • Experience balancing operational rigour, governance and adaptability within an agile organisation
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
