Our client is a market leading distributor of Lubrication and Fuel Transfer Equipment in Australia. They are now looking to appoint a Customer Service Coordinator based in the Melbourne office.


Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting external sales staff
  • Provide accurate quotes in a timely fashion
  • Enter orders in a timely fashion
  • Actively support fellow members of the customer service team by sharing workload and participating in team meetings
  • Willing to learn internal sales of the business for future growth
  • Understand and adhere to the documented policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in a fastpaced environment and organise / prioritise workload to meet demands
  • Fully document each new issue and resolution
  • Listen understand and convey customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases
  • Other duties as directed by reporting manager
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values and financial objectives
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects
  • Identify customers' needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
  • Expediting of customer orders
  • Maintain customer WIP reports
  • Have an understanding of current specials and discounts to offer upsells relevant to the customers patch / territory
  • Maintain special pricing as required by the business
  • Follow company procedures to enter warranties for repair or replacement
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus
  • Ensure that processes deliver their intended outputs
