Our client is an Australian Manufacturer selling products globally, they are based near the Sydney Airport. They are now looking to appoint a Trade Marketing Coordinator who will report into the Marketing Manager.


Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate key marketing projects for the company range with a primary focus on
  • Branding, packaging, marketing collateral & promotional items, website maintenance, social media, marketing communications and merchandising
  • Coordinate key account marketing activities including catalogue submissions, promotional material requirements for events, trade material and other marketing requirements
  • Working relationships with Marketing, Sales team including Territory Managers and with external suppliers, distributors and customers
  • Communicate inventory stock levels and forecasts to marketing / sales management teams
  • Coordinate relevant marketing and advertising campaigns; planning and organising promotional presentations; updating calendars
  • Ability to work with the product team to establish go to market strategy for NPD, and implement a promotional and penetration plan for success of new products launched
  • Coordinate the communication in building key FAB's for new and existing products and align all collateral within the appropriate style guide
  • Maintain the company website product maintenance, content and image updates.
  • Manage the collateral for technical specifications for new and existing products
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing and advertising, maintaining research databases
  • Be the link between product management and marketing (and agency) to design and launch new products within your portfolio and ensure product launch is executed and correct training is formulated through the channels
  • Plan meetings and trade shows / events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establish contacts; developing schedules and assignments, coordinating mailing lists and working with territory team to enable brand presence
  • Update promotional material in time for trade events
  • Manage all areas of digital marketing and social media distribution
  • Track promotional campaign sales, measure campaign success / failures, and prepare reports

Preferred skills:


  • Experience (Minimum 2 years in related job / industry)
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing / Communications (Essential)
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in building EDMs and social media marketing (Mailchimp)
  • Quick learner and ability to work in an everchanging fastpaced environment
  • Well organised and able to multitask, prioritise and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
