As an asphalt operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to lay and compact asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, and other machinery.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper asphalt thickness and density.
- Spread and level asphalt using hand tools and other equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and work in outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of asphalt materials and equipment
