The role:

Reporting to the Manager, Presentation you will be responsible for supporting the installations and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment, and test specific versions of one or more of these products and building, documenting and implementing technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.


In addition to this, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment, and test specific versions of one or more of these products.
  • Building, documenting and implementing technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.
  • Utilising appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
Are you right for this role?To be successful in the role you will have the demonstrated ability or the ability to quickly learn eHealth Queensland's ITIL Service Management processes, primarily incident / problem / change / configuration management

(SFIA:

USUP Level 3, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 3, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 2).

Furthermore you will have demonstrated high level technical expertise evidenced by the ability to provide professional support, advice and solutions and well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.

High level understanding and technical skills in one or more of the following:

  • Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)
  • Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
  • Enterprise printing solutions (Novell iPrint)
Reasonable travel as negotiated may be a requirement of this position. An open 'C' class driver's licence is desirable.
Participating in on-call arrangements may be a requirement of this position.
