Description
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and execute strategies for cost saving and efficiency initiatives,
Work closely with the Delivery Manager & Maintenance coordinators to identify and assess efficient initiatives to implement,
Development and reporting of efficiency metrics to demonstrate cost savings,
Ensure compliance with Wood and Seqwater's policies, standards, quality, safety, environmental, technical procedures, SOP instructions and practices as required, this includes performing compliance checks from time to time,
Effectively lead and manage the maintenance improvement strategy throughout Seqwater and provide key leadership in the ongoing development of this strategy
Lead investigations into non-conformances or other issues, including reliability performance, (Root cause, FMEA analysis) as they arise, and review investigations completed by the team,
Perform data analysis and preparation of improvement opportunity business cases through the MIS program,
Review newly installed plant and equipment to ensure capital project hand over completion.
Experience
Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position,
Extensive Leadership experience performing in a similar role,
Strong understanding of relevant Government regulation and legislation,
Extensive experience in asset maintenance with an intermediate level of commercial and business acumen,
Relevant Workplace health and safety requirements,
Exceptional leadership skills with positive attitude to addressing problems,
Knowledge and experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional qualification OR equivalent with relevant industry experience
Recognised and accredited management qualification
Possess unrestricted C class drivers license
The ability to take responsibility for (manage) a team of consulting engineers and trade staff
Demonstrated experience in managing resources to ensure organisational objectives are met
Sound and developed analytic skills
Mobile and willing to spend time away from office as and when required.
