True HR BP, 2IC to CPO
- $150K + super + bonus

  • South Western Sydney location
Are you looking for an established consumer FMCG multinational company that is looking to transform its HR team into a true HR business partnering model?


Reporting to the CPO, working as 2IC, you will work with the senior leadership team, focusing on the commercial sales and marketing division, however, there will be some work with the warehouse as well as other divisions & countries across the business.

Being the more senior HR Business Partner in the team, there will be informal mentoring of the HR team.

There is a need to lift the value add from HR on the development of the people within the business, along with a focus on how to drive engagement internally and even externally, including EVP, employer brand, and relevant communication strategy.

To be successful in this role you will have experience with:

  • Providing operational and strategic HR advice to business leaders and building positive, supportive relationships with front-line managers across all areas of HR and the employee life cycle, including managing employee relations cases, coaching on performance management as well as leading HR projects which will contribute to the overall HR strategy.
  • HR projects will be focused on learning and development, engagement, and culture.
  • Talent management and reviews and working with leaders on retention, attrition in sales & marketing, and ability to partner in the leadership team.
  • Working proactively with leaders and being on the front foot with driving best practices and contemporary management practices.
  • In dynamic and fastpaced, complex, multinational organisations.
  • Building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders, with a natural capability to build trusted relationships, and the ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders whilst being compassionate.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently, be proactive and host an actionorientated attitude.
  • In the direct management of complex employee relations issues, workplaces investigations & conflict management.
  • A strong understanding of HR legislation & requirements.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring programs, policy & process improvements.
  • A wide array HR programs and practices including talent management, performance management and employee relations.
  • Experience in the consumer, FMCG Industry (or similar) preferred
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
