Dean & Ling Executive are proud to partner with ARTC Inland Rail for this once-in-a-generation project and are seeking expressions of interest from Project Change Leaders to work on this exciting project.


Inland Rail (IR) is a 1,700km fast freight backbone, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane that will transform how goods are moved around Australia, better linking business, manufacturers and producers to national and global markets.


The Change Control team supports change management across the program for key projects and initiatives to achieve desired business outcomes.

The Change Control team is responsible to ensure control of Baseline change primarily consisting of Scope, Schedule, and Cost. This position is to implement and facilitate the change process in support of the IR Program.


While this role will not have supervisory responsibility, the Change Control role works with critical stakeholders throughout the organisation and helps to enforce the Change Management methodology across the project and program delivery landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Working with senior leadership to ensure that a 'best for program' approach is taken to change management.
  • Partner the Project manager/Project director, Sponsor(s) and Change Management Community to deploy Change Management methodologies and tools.
  • Responsible for leading or playing a key role in project change and initiatives that may arise from time to time that relate to significant updates to the project baseline.
  • Responsible for performing periodic selfassessments and reviews of project change process effectiveness in support of continuous improvement efforts.
  • Facilitate project change paper(s) for impact analysis, anticipate resistance and prepare risk mitigation plans.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders.
  • Support project teams to integrate Change Management outcomes in variance tools.
  • Work collaboratively with project team to achieve project and program common goals.
  • Establish necessary change project metrics, monitoring, measurement and reporting.
  • Accountable for quality and accuracy of Change related data and timely and relevant

About You

  • Previous Project Change Control Experience with a strong delivery background.
  • Knowledge of Change Management frameworks.
  • Previous experience with project controls software such as Prism, Sharepoint, DOORS.
  • Advanced in Excel.
  • Proficient in Power Bi.
  • Highly developed leadership, negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem resolution, interpersonal and communication skills.
