About the role
Using your retail and supervisory experience to help all creatures' great and small by coordinating the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop while focusing on generating a valuable income for the RSPCA Qld.
- Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and secondhand and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere.
- Work closely with the Op Shop Business Manager, to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Train and support volunteers.
- Drive sales to achieve set targets.
- Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store.
- Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures.
- Maintain and periodically review the shop's pricing list.
Who are we looking for?
- Confident in retail and must have demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment (minimum of 2 years in a similar role).
- Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands.
- Proven visual/merchandising skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound computer skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team.
