The Opportunity


Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Maintenance Operations Planning Analystto join our team located at RAAF Base Amberley, South East Queensland.


Main focus will be on the Super Hornet and Growler modification program, requiring a keen eye for detail to review for synergies of hangar maintenance tasks across the platform.


Responsibilities

  • The compilation and issuing of Work Orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff, assisting with development and updates of aircraft maintenance schedules to meet program operational requirements and performing reporting of maintenance activities.
  • Analyse, plan, organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft and aircraft components using applicable Boeing software and management tools.
  • Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules.
  • Liaise and build relationships with:Participate in aircraft customer status and initiation meetings:
  • Engineering on progress of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) dispositions.
  • Procurement on aircraft parts supply including Required Delivery Date (RDD) to support schedule.
  • Maintenance teams on aircraft progress and servicing requirements.
  • Backshops (Structures, Paintshop etc) to support aircraft schedule.

Essential Criteria

  • A strong background and an indepth knowledge of aircraft maintenance;
  • Skills to develop and implement new policies, and maintenance programs that will enhance maintenance operations;
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable but not essential

  • Experience on the Super Hornet or Growler aircraft platforms;Be familiar with maintenance planning requirements, including maintenance planning software programs. (e.g. cMRO, CAMM2, or similar programs).
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Maintenance Controller / Planner in an aircraft maintenance environment, or similar role.

To be successful, the applicant must

  • Hold a Negative Vetting One (NV1) security clearance or the ability to obtain one, and
  • Hold a high degree of interpersonal skills to work in a dynamic, multiteam environment.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
