The Opportunity


The Security & Fire Protection Team in Boeing Defence Australia is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient industrial security service in the protection of personnel, infrastructure and all confidential data foundational to Boeing and its clients.

Our vision is to be the most reliable, meticulous and trusted Defence Industry provider across all defence services.

We are presently seeking an Information Security staff member to support the information security imperatives throughout Boeing Defence Australia.

This role is based in
Brisbane.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cyber incident response advice across Boeing Defence Australia
  • Provide information security advice to key stakeholders
  • Lead the Cyber Assurance activities across Boeing Defence Australia
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT specialists, project managers and other internal teams on the development and maintenance of incident response requirements and standards for projects that comply with relevant Government legislation as mandated by the Defence Industry Security Program
  • Develop and implement an awareness and educational program specific to incident response to ensure compliance, confidentiality and operational security in line with Government requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion and high levels of integrity to ensure both Boeing and client information and data is protected
  • Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance across the business

Experience/Qualifications

  • This position requires an Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
  • Familiarity with DFIR operations within the Australian Government context, with a good working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, DSPF
  • Industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH are highly desirable
  • Highly organised, task oriented, selfstarter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires mínimal supervision
  • Ability to make and/or change plans, goals and actions in response to an evolving business environment with the awareness to operate as a focal for incident response across the business
  • Ability to travel periodically as planned or unplanned within or outside assigned region
  • High level of skill in remote IR toolsets
  • Good understanding of computer intrusion activity and incident response techniques
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
