Salesforce is looking for a seasoned Associate Events Manager who can build rapport with key stakeholders, manage schedules, produce and distribute run sheets, and own the Salesforce experience in our Specialty Spaces from end to end.

The REWS Events team will work together to manage all hospitality elements that connect the entire Real Estate and Workplace Services team to create successful on-site events, experiences and workplace connections.

Our incredible specialty spaces support executive receptions, non-profit fundraising events, customer networking connections, campus events, equality resource group events, talent & development workshops, training, all hands, town halls and more.

This position is hands-on in the day-to-day management and execution of our events that will include working with internal Salesforce teams, customers and vendors and agencies outside of Salesforce.


In this position it will be critical to coordinate internal and external requests, with experience in budgeting, team and vendor management and overall analysis and reporting, but not limited to presentations to showcase detailed information to highlight the success of the Sydney REWS events team regularly.


Responsibilities

  • Support multiple events and activities daily in a collaborative and extremely fast paced environment.
  • Respond to event requests in a timely manner via the REWS ticketing portal Ability to respond to, evaluate, update, track and manage all event requests Strong data and analytical skills, be organised, diligent and enjoy customer service interactions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new innovations, improvements to processes, and improvements and upgrades to existing event products and services.
  • Work in close partnership with the global Real Estate & Workplace Services team, Event Program Leads, Workplace Connections teams and Internal Communication/ Public Relations team to drive successful events.
  • Illuminate the Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, onbrand messaging.
  • Ensure best practices documentation is created and adhered to for global and regional reuse.
  • Familiarity in consulting or planning events for nonprofits or foundations.
  • Create qualitative and quantitative reporting for executives using internal dashboards and other data tools
  • Maintain templates, run sheets, documents, playbooks and slack communications
  • Communicate regular event updates to management including, BOD, C-Level, ELT meeting/events
  • Own and manage executive visitor process and program for Salesforce Tower Sydney Manage budgets, tracking and analysis for all REWS ticketed IBP events

Experience

  • Proven experience managing high volume, corporate and hospitality events, meetings and nonprofit events.
  • Indepth knowledge of Google Suite programs (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Slack and Quip
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address client's needs, through canned slack responses, approved templates and scripts for the Sydney Events team
  • Resultsoriented, customer driven, organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline oriented environment
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
