The Client

Over the last 15 years, our client has supplied mining and oil & gas operations in the supply, installation and maintenance of portable buildings such as accommodation units, offices, kitchens, gyms and crib rooms for remote mine sites.

The Role

Due to the recent promotion of the current Yardman, our client is in need of an experienced Yardman / Trade Assistant / Forklift Operator to join their team at their large yard based in Wattleup, Western Australia.

The available role is one that has a heap of variety where the main responsibilities include;

General Yard Clean Up:

Getting work areas prepared for Contactors:

Loading & Unloading Trucks using Fork Lift:

-
Maintenance & Prep Work on Portable Buildings to get ready for site

Using Power & Hand Tools:
Checking deliveries with consignment notes to ensure delivery is correct:

Using company Ute to pick up Materials, Equipment & Tools:

Checking plant & equipment prior to site deployment
Generators, Water Systems, Aircon Units:

Refuelling Generators for Yard or Site Deployment:

Running Cables & Power Supplies to work areas:

-
General Forklift Operating (High Risk LF)

Moving around Equipment, Materials & Machinery:

-
Organizing Tools & Equipment:

-
Getting site Tool Containers stocked & ready for site & unpacking on return:

Fitting out with Furniture & Equipment Portable Offices, Accommodation Units, Kitchens, Gyms & Crib Rooms:

Removing & Sorting Furniture & Equipment from returned Portable-Office, Accommodation Units, Kitchens, Gyms & Crib Rooms
As the ad title suggest we are looking for a multi skilled and versatile Yardman that has experience across;

Yard Work:

Forklift Operating:

Trades Assistant

Building Trades:
Labouring

Essential criteria include;

Possess a High Risk Fork Lift License (LF):

Possess a Current C Class Drivers License in order to use company vehicles:

Have experience as a TA using Hand & Power Tools:

Have a positive attitude possessing initiative, intelligence and good organisational skills:

Conducts themselves in a highly professional manner at all times:

Be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic:

Be physically fit with the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks:

Be safety conscious

Remuneration
Casual pay rate will be between;

$30.00 to $34.

00 Per Hour (Flat Rate):
