The Company
For the last 30+ years, our client has manufactured purpose built pumping systems designed to their client's requirements and specifications with a proven reputation of quality, reliability and service, supplying to a wide range of clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Heavy Industry and Utilities industries.
Due to the promotion of one of the Electrical TA team members we are seeking an Electrical TA to join the Electrical team for ongoing / long term work.
The Role
The work will be covering the following tasks;

Switchboard Build:
-
Assisting Electricians in build of Pumping Equipment:
Skid Wiring
The work is predominately Switchboard build / manufacture where the switchboards are generally 1 to 2 meters in height and 70 centimetres to 1 meter wide, where each panel is fitted to a skid or trailer mounted pump set.
The work tasks will cover all facets of switchboard manufacturing from fitting back pans and cable ladders through to fitting electronic components and terminating them.

Computer circuit boards:

SCADA or HMI components

Electrical Line Drawings:

Electrical Panel Layouts
Each job comes with a "job order" that provides detailed information of the job, such as the equipment it will be fitted too, the priority of the job and an electrical diagram (line or panel layout) of the switchboards
Each team member generally takes responsibility of one switchboard or major component of a panel array at a time.
The role will also include assisting Electricians in a wide variety of tasks focusing on;

Testing
You may work across fitting solar panels and communication antennas on skids and trailers through to assisting in rewiring new generators for mining specs or aligning electrical motors to pumps.

Remuneration
Depending on past work experience, technical expertise and qualification pay rates will vary from;
