The Company


Our client is a long standing FMCG products distributor established 35+ years ago, based in Prestons in South West Sydney.

They distribute and supply a variety of products across multiple retail channels.


The Role


Reporting to the Head of supply Chain, the Inventory & Logistics Manager will manage all inventory & logistics activities within the business to ensure seamless delivery of service for customers.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the inventory team and drive results.
  • 3PL and multisite inventory management.
  • Cycle count & stocktake management.
  • Oversee the logistics team to ensure freight tasks are actioned accurately and within the required timeframe.
  • Manage, control and deliver results for inbound & outbound freight movements.
  • Monitor and present to the management team on KPI's and other key business results.
  • Coordinate the flow of timely information to and from internal customers.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in inventory management.
  • FMCG industry experience highly desirable.
  • Effective communication.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong systems abilities.
