This global leader in Commercial Real Estate Services specialise in IFM Service Delivery at the highest level, for some of the worlds' most notable global corporations and right across the spectrum of Australian industries.

Due to internal movements, they currently have a unique opportunity for a Technical Facilities Manager to take the role of Site Lead for a high-profile corporate enterprise client, based in Chatswood, Sydney.


$100, ,000 + super (depending on experience).

February or March start.

The Role:

***Reporting to the Group Account Manager and supported by the Regional Operations team, you will take a lead role over all technical facilities management (both hard and soft services) across 3 corporate office and data centre sites, whilst helping to shape and lead a new team of 6 direct reports.


A typical day may involve:


  • Full accountability for technical and soft services across the sites including budgets, project delivery and procurement.
  • Responsibility for the upkeep and preventative maintenance of HVAC, Fire and Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Mechanical, Cleaning and General Maintenance across critical environments.
  • Financial accountability for reporting on Opex spend, creating and implementing costsaving initiatives and tracking against KPIs.
  • Establishing culture and best practices within a relatively new team of 6 reports
  • Facilities Coordinators, Assistant FM and Workplace Ambassadors.
  • Establish and maintain costeffective preventative and reactive maintenance programs for building, plant, systems and equipment.
  • Oversight of all minor and major projects e.g. renovations, DLP and upgrades.
  • Report and respond to incidents of risk and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure contractual service levels are met within scope of work, and recommend process improvements
  • Managing a strong existing client relationship through regular meetings and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:


  • Strong background in Technical Facilities Management within critical environments
    (ESSENTIAL):
  • Data Centre experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of technical systems (electrical, fire, mechanical) to understand and communicate with contractors
    (ESSENTIAL):
  • Proven ability as a people manager
    (ESSENTIAL):
  • Exceptional customer service and presentation
    (ESSENTIAL)
