Detailed Job Description
A leading construction head contractor with a large pipeline of works going forward into 2024.

They have been responsible for some of Canberra's signature landmarks and have an exciting project pipeline for you to jump straight into.

Thanks to their excellent structure and leadership, they have secured a great amount of future works and are looking for an young and ambitious Site Engineer/Foreman to join their ranks.

Your role will be to assist the current project manager in delivery of scheduling and planning for large scale projects as well as:

Run procurement process for commercial projects
Preparation of project documentation throughout the course of the project
Scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and programme management
Ensuring WHS requirements are met onsite
Consulting on any technical engineering issues
Manage subcontractor trades & negotiate on contracts
Be responsible for overall contracts management
Gain exposure to financial controls & budgeting

The Ideal Applicant

7+ years Australian work experience in a construction discipline
Commercial construction experience is a must
Be ambitious, motivated & eager to learn
Have strong communication skills & be an active problem solver
Experience working on projects over $
5 million:
Hold a Bachelors or relevant tertiary qualification in construction

You will need to have Australian work experience working with a Tier 2 or 3 head contractor where you contributed to the overall successful delivery of a project.
