What you'll be doing

The Clinical Liaison position involves the provision of assessment, evidence based treatment and case management services to young persons referred to the service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses.

It is based within a multidisciplinary community mental health team.

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available._

Selection Criteria:

Qualification as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Allied Health Professional. Must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (if applicable) and/or eligibility for membership of a relevant peak body professional association.
Demonstrated recent experience working with consumers with psychological/psychiatric illness.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in the provision of evidence based interventions for mental illness.
Experience in mental health crisis intervention.
Understanding of NSW Mental Health Act
Proven high level written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer literacy.
Evidence of a Class C driver's licence.
