The Role
We have a fabulous opportunity to join our team in Kewdale, WA as our new Maintenance Planner.

You will be part of our busy Maintenance Team who are responsible for provision of best practice support and customer service across the Production and Maintenance departments.


You will look after the creation of Maintenance Schedules and Plans to support the Sites execution of achieving optimal equipment uptime.

You will develop maintenance plans in partnership with production to achieve optimal equipment uptime with available resources. This role is a key driver for identifying and delivering change initiatives and solutions in planning and scheduling activities. There's also support of the Maintenance Team in real time delivery of production plan via shift engineering support.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Initiate and implement process and routines to continually improve the maintenance function using Asset Care best practice tools.
  • Ensure effective use and continued development of the CMMS System (Maximo).
  • Liaise with other functions to identify key issues affecting line performance and develop actions through the planning process to rectify these.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are effectively and efficiently planned, managed and delivered to meet business requirements with effective utilisation of resourcing.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks allocated are completed as scheduled and all relevant information is updated in Maximo.
  • Ensure maintenance KPI's are communicated to the maintenance team (T1) to clarify expectations and any nonconformance addressed in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate at DOR (T1/T2/T3) meetings.
  • Supports the Maintenance Team in the planning of Operational Shutdowns.
  • Develop longer term plans aimed at smoothing the maintenance load across the year.
  • Support understanding the criticality of spare part activity

About you:


  • Beverage or FMCG process knowledge and experience desirable
  • Strong communication skills with ability to motivate
  • Change management ability to think, communicate and influence change within the asset care function.
  • Effective management, leadership, mentoring and coordination of activities within the Asset Care function.
  • An ability to consistently achieve results and deliver on promises (do what they say they will)
  • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities required to build the necessary relationships with peers, operations and maintenance teams.
  • Creative thinking, tenacity and dedication required to deliver improvement in asset performance and operational productivity
  • Has strong knowledge of maintenance systems and processes, with technical knowhow.
