Learning & Development Specialist

Grade 7/- Temporary 6-month Opportunity (with the possibility of extension)

DCS is working to create a strategic, organisation-wide solution for the digital era in an agile collaboration between leaders, experts, and customers to reimagine what "good" Learning & Development looks like, and we want passionate Learning & Development experts to help us.


  • Experience and capabilities for working in lean, Agile, designled projects
  • Demonstrated delivery of significant programs across complex matrixed organisations
  • Experience developing and implementing blended learning solutions
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (desirable)
  • Undergraduate qualification in learning or related field e.g., business or psychology OR equivalent years of successful work experience in learning consultation, design, or closely related field

What will your day involve?
We can't tell what every single day will look like because no two will be the same, but to give you an idea:

  • Partner with team members to design and implement a range of learning & development programs to meet strategic capability needs across the enterprise and support the retention of an engaged and high performing workforce
  • Coordinate and implement a range of projects and support project leads in the delivery of organisational and business projects
  • Work effectively with outsourced providers to develop innovative solutions in an environment of continually changing needs where practice is constantly improving
  • Manage the learning management systems and HCMS, coordinating the curriculum in advance
  • Support the implementation and delivery of the People & Culture Delivery Plan across the organisation
