The GP Practice at South Melbourne has been supporting the local community since 2013 under Star Health, and previously as Inner South Community Health.

It is a fully accredited teaching practice, with a highly skilled GP, nursing and administrative team.

The practice is part of a progressive community health organisation, with a large multidisciplinary ream of health professionals and an array of programs to support patients to achieve their health goals.


We are looking for a full time, experienced medical receptionist with Best Practice knowledge to support our GP practice based in South Melbourne.

Working hours are weekdays only (no public holidays), 9.30am to 6pm.


Ideally, you will possess:


  • A professional qualification in Medical Administration is desirable
  • Experience in General Practice
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad group of clients
  • Excellent knowledge of Best Practice client management software, including appointment management and billing
  • A clear understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles in healthcare.
