What you'll be doing


The position of End User Computing Officer exists within the IT Operations portfolio of the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Directorate of the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts (NSLHD and CCLHD).

This position will be primarily based at a single site however will require some travel to any sites within NSLHD and/or CCLHD.

The primary site for this position will be agreed at the time of appointment and periodically as required with IT Operations Management.

The End User Computing Officer provides customer facing first level resolution and provisioning for the End User Computing team.

The incumbent will participate in activities that support and maintain the ICT services and network of both LHDs and contribute to them operating at maximum availability.

The incumbent will also participate in related projects such that they are delivered on time and in-line with the organisation's business plan and within the operational / project budget.

  • Knowledge of ticket management systems and understanding of how these systems support workload management and improvements in customer service
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to write reports and present findings, and excellent customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the deployment and management of desktops, laptops, tablets and other end user equipment
