Position Information


Normanhurst Boys High School, with an enrolment of 750 students, is an academically selective high school with approximately 85% of students from a language background other than English.

There are three classes in the autism support unit. The school has an exceptional wellbeing program that enables students to be known, valued, and cared for. Student wellbeing and success are at the centre of all decision-making processes.

The school is committed to excellence in boys' education, placing high importance on catering for the specific needs of high potential and gifted students.

Specific Selection Criteria

  • Approval to teach Food Technology and Technology Mandatory.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work as a team to support the development of differentiated programs, with a focus on maximising student engagement and achievement.
  • Demonstrated effective classroom management skills with the capacity to develop the needs of high potential and gifted students.
  • Willingness to contribute to, and/or lead, faculty and whole school cocurricular programs and activities.
