The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (the

A global centre-of-excellence, it integrates Cardiac Physiology and Transplantation, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Cardiology and Biophysics, Structural and Computational Biology, as well as Vascular Biology.

At the Institute, we translate our discoveries into new diagnostics, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease - reducing the incidence, severity and impact of heart disease.


Your next career opportunity:

We are seeking a part time Database Administrator to support a research team within the Infiltrative Cardiomyopathy Lab. This part time role (7.6 hours per week) is for 12 months.


What we will trust you with:

  • Perform timely and accurate data entry
  • Assist with data manipulation, merging files and storing records
  • Log receipt of data submitted
  • Perform data cleaning
  • Assist with the integration of quantitative and qualitative data to answer research questions

Does this sound like you?:


  • Demonstrated experience in high volume data entry
  • Experience with one or more database packages (E.g. Access, FMP, Excel) for data acquisition
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of systems and processes to support the collation and management of highquality data and accuracy in research
