We have a Coordinator opportunity in a large service is Farrer, where you'll be leading an Assistant Coordinator and dedicated Educators.

About the role

Leading a team of Assistant Coordinators and Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, under the guidance of a Lead Coordinator.

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service

With this Coordinator vacancy at this large service in Farrer you'll have your own space and an existing strong school relationship.

This full-time role (including 8 admin hours) will be working as under the roof ratio, allowing you to move among the groups of students and team members.

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids
Diploma/Bachelors qualified within relevant discipline as approved by ACECQA (Youth Work, Early Childhood Education etc)
Experience leading a team
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
