About the Role


Due to continual expansion and growth, an opportunity has become available to be part of the engineering department as an assistant maintenance planner reporting to the maintenance manager.

You will ensure all preventative and corrective maintenance on site is planned, scheduled, and booked in advance. As the maintenance planner/scheduler, you will be the key person to coordinate between various departments, contractors and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and scheduling all maintenance and calibration for all internal sites, facilities and equipment.
  • Coordinate access to production, Quality Control Warehouse equipment with customers
  • Follow all workplace guidelines and provide relevant documentation to perform onsite maintenance.
  • Updating, operating and maintaining site Component Content Management System(CCMS)
  • Generate reporting to asses current workflows and continue to support improvement in activities
  • Liaise with various internal departments and external vendors regarding maintenance schedules and calibrations

About you

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering
  • Mechanical/Manufacturing
  • 12 years of experience with CMMS/Asset Manager Systems in a maintenance scheduling/planning capacity
  • A strong verbal communicator with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders and be a team player
  • Highly organised and can multitask and prioritise
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT knowledge and skills
