Are you fascinated by automotive or heavy machinery and eager to kick-start your career in the industry? Our client is a leading global provider of lifting solutions such as mobile, tower and crawler cranes.
This role is based in the office at Blacktown, so you'll need to be able to commute there daily.
Responsibilities
- Assist in interpreting customer inquiries and identifying the correct parts for heavy machinery equipment.
- Collaborate with experienced parts interpreters to learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of part numbers, catalogue systems, and product specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing accurate information, and ensuring timely delivery of parts orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, including shelving, inventory management, and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with the team to suggest improvements in parts inventory, pricing, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for automotive or heavy machinery, demonstrated through personal interest or prior knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to ensure accurate interpretation of customer requests and proper management of parts inventory.
- High school certificate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
