The Position
You will provide acute general medicine and on-call services to inpatients, including providing support to a 5 bed HDU.

Conduct privately referred outpatient consultancy services in your subspecialist interest area
Provide outreach services to the smaller local communities
Opportunity for conjoint appointments with Joint Medical Program
You will be well supported by a team of colleagues with a good mix of experience and enthusiasm, providing mentoring and support
The team is well serviced by junior medical staff across the general medicine unit (including 4 JMO's and 2 Trainee (BPT) positions) and is accredited for advanced training in general and acute care medicine.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have

Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in General Medicine, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or specialist recognition as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
