About the role


Based in our Business Support offices at our Darling Harbour attractions, you will be reporting to the Head of Marketing - NSW, and will be responsible for planning, delivering, and executing the brand marketing plans across our two animal attractions to achieve admissions volume and revenue targets.


With a robust understanding of all elements of the marketing mix, you will write the annual attraction marketing plans, and implement them with the support of your team, targeting our core audiences with relevant campaigns and products in line with current customer insight.

A creative, strategic analytical approach is required to ensure these plans maximise consumer awareness across all of our comms channels and ultimately drive visitation to our SEA LIFE and WILD LIFE attractions in Sydney.


You will work closely with the wider ANZ Sales & Marketing teams - including e-Commerce, Trade Sales, and Public Relations - as well as the onsite Operations and Commercial Teams to coordinate marketing initiatives.

You will also be supporting the Head of Marketing to develop and execute the cluster ticket strategy.

Meeting deadlines, possessing strong attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal skills will be the keys to success for this role.

You will be diving deep into a unique marketing role where no two days are quite the same. Whether that be working alongside our curatorial teams to plan and promote our incredible ocean environments, communicating our amazing conservation initiatives or launching fantastic new products and campaigns at our two iconic attractions - a fast-paced but incredibly fun challenge awaits


About You
You are a passionate, digitally savvy marketeer who is looking to take their marketing career to the next level.

A love for visitor attractions, travel, and tourism is essential for any of our roles, and you will need to have passion for delivering truly memorable experiences to our guests.

To truly shine in this position, you will also have:

  • 35 years of relevant marketing experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior team management experience, driving teams to deliver on key marketing strategies
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Creative and strategic thinker, looking to identify innovative new ways to promote our attractions and products
  • Good relationship builder, able to liaise at all levels, including external suppliers
  • Be creative and thrive on championing new initiatives within and beyond scope of position
