u&u Recruitment Partners is partnering with a leading manufacturer organisation that is looking for a customer centric and enthusiastic Credit Controller to join their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

About the Role

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the view to be extended/go permanent. You'll be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working closely with key stakeholders within the wider Finance Department.

Your day-to-day duties will consist of but not limited to the following:

Build relationships and rapport with clients, seek feedback and identify improvements for account management;
Implement collection strategies to manage accounts;
Identify potential marginal accounts and manage overdue payments;
Maintain client and account information on database;
Resolve any customer/client enquiries and resolve within a timely manner;
Prepare and process credit notes as required from Management;
Liaise with Management for delinquent accounts and pass to collection agencies;
Prepare documents for debt write offs; and

General ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills & Experience

Ideally two years' minimum experience within credit management/accounts receivable;
Ideally you will have experience with a complexed ERP system;
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written; and

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
