    Job description:
  • You will provide high level advice and leadership on the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in research. You will foster research capacity across the physiotherapy service to support our mission to optimise the health and wellbeing of all Tasmanians through highquality care. As a leader with significant impact, you will embody the service values of teamwork, care for people and integrity. You will develop effective linkages within and external to the Tasmanian Health Service in relation to research. Your work will involve collaboration across the physiotherapy service and with other allied health, nursing, and medical disciplines locally and statewide.

    As a member of the physiotherapy service, you will contribute to a learning culture and foster leadership, innovation and evidence driven patient care.

The team:


  • Physiotherapy Services, Hospitals South comprises six clinical teams across community, subacute and acute settings.
  • There is an active physiotherapy research committee that fosters research and builds capacity within the service, and you will have a key role in driving the work of this committee.

Details of Appointment
Fixed Term, part time, day worker position, working 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 23 June 202- notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- _Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies._


Salary:

$116,616 - $124,147 per annum. Our Employer 10.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.


You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

- _Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement _


Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Relevant research and/or clinical related post graduate qualifications or evidence of current study towards the attainment of such
