Schedule: Positions for peak call voume times between 09:00am to 05:00pm, seven days per week as required

About the role

  • We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Communication with medical staff, both onsite and off-site
  • Answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology results assistance
  • General administration duties
  • Maintain customer confidentiality
  • Liaise with laboratory staff

About you

  • To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
  • Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
  • Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  • Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong customer focus and general office skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
