The Project Manager Role:

The Project Manager, working with the construction team, has the overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.

This includes accountability for front end planning, ongoing programming, and final handover, as well as consistent cost management, safety integration, and client engagement.

A day at work can include:

Taking overall responsibility to deliver a successful project, including pre-design, design, construction and completion stages of the project.
Acting as the primary point of contact for all communication and stakeholder management from the project Client.
Taking a lead role in establishing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Environmental systems in accordance with Baseline Projects System Standards.
Assembling and leading the project team to achieve the best possible performance from all members. Take responsibility for resources engaged in the projects and liaise with senior management to ensure projects are appropriately resourced.
Managing any formal project deliverables in line with System Standards.
Liaising with Senior PM, Director, Site Manager and contractors as required to satisfy system standards requirements.

To be considered for the role of a Baseline Project Manager you will require:

Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager role with Construction contractors – Defence experience highly regarded
Experience managing projects with HAZMAT investigation requirements
Construction General Induction (White Card)
A strong ability work as a part of a diverse and multicultural team
A passion for construction with an eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
Enthusiasm to learn & accept new challenges
BA of Construction Management/Project Management highly advantageous.
Must be an Australian Citizen for access to Defence Bases
