Our client is a leading Queensland property group who have close to $1bil of projects to be delivered across high rise resi, mixed use, commercial and retail and due to this growth they have an immediate requirement for a Foreman to join the team.


Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be expected to hit the ground running and keep up with the programming and scheduling of the project.


You will lead and push the teams on site and will be responsible for keeping up with the schedule of the finishes program.


Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Take the lead role in the daytoday management of onsite safety, including monitoring of site safety Run the onsite budget and business processes relating to labour, overtime, small tools and hire equipment.
  • Manage the daytoday site activity inaccordance with the programme and comply with business systems Manage the daytoday activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan and project documentation Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and onsite meetings.
  • Consistently achieve and assist subcontractors in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Trade background
  • Carpenter
  • Have major Finishes experience


  • Apartments

  • Residential, commercial or retail experience from a tier 1,2 or 3 head contractor
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Finishes Foreman on large scale projects
  • Have excellent people management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Be a team player
