About the Role
***As

Manager Development Assessment and Regulation, reporting directly to the Director Communities and Place, you will be leading a significant group of dedicated and experienced professionals including:

  • Fast Track Assessment
  • advice and accelerated planning assessment
  • Development Assessment planning and design assessment
  • Development Engineering road, water and sewer assessment)
  • Compliance and Regulation
  • Public Spaces and Animal Regulation
Your challenge as

Manager Development Assessment and Regulation will be to lead and manage the Development Assessment and Regulation Branch of Council and to deliver effective services that ensure good development, infrastructure, community activity and use of public land.


Exciting developments include:

  • The largescale Southern Highlands Innovation Precinct
  • Renewal of iconic Bowral, Moss Vale and Mittagong Town Centres
  • Ashbourne Estate release area, bringing housing diversity to Moss Vale
  • Renwick release area, growing a new community near Mittagong
  • Future work in 7 identified new release living areas
