About the Role
This role will play a key part within the People and Culture team through:

  • Providing advice and information to management on workplace relations, staff performance and policy processes
  • Partnering with senior client group leaders to build a people plan, aligned to the client group and Kaplan's strategy
  • Addressing HR queries which includes policy interpretation, performance management approach and interpretation of Award or Enterprise Agreement
  • Leads HRrelated cyclical projects per year which relates to Remuneration Review, Performance Review and Engagement Surveys
  • Generating employment documentation, including contracts, changes, and general correspondence
  • Processing employee changes in our HRIS (Workday)
  • Providing administrative support to the People and Culture Manager with key compliance processes
  • Supporting the recruitment and selection process, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checking

About You

We're looking for someone that's energetic, who will bring a professional and proactive approach to their work accompanied by polished communication and customer service skills.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:


Essential:


  • A degree or qualification in Human Resources
  • Experience in the Higher Education industry
  • Customer Service and Administration experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite

Desirable

  • HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
  • Recruitment Management System


It is a requirement of all Kaplan employees to complete a National Police Check and hold a valid Working with Children Check in your relevant state.

  • Salary range: $65,000K base $75,000K base + super_
