Overview:


Our Case Manager position offers a fully-supported and structured training opportunity for you to start your career in Work Cover Insurance.

Our training is specifically designed to build your claims knowledge and grow your confidence and industry expertise to empower you to effectively support injured workers in their claims journey - without the need to have prior industry or insurance experience.

Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Providing a professional and customer centric Workers Compensation claims service through effective claims management
  • Reviewing requests of medical/surgical treatment and assessing its reasonableness to help aid injured workers recovery where required
  • Working closely with internal/external stakeholders, medical professionals and ORP's throughout the injured workers recovery journey
  • Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, such as medical professionals to facilitate positive outcomes which can lead to injured workers being able to selfmanage their injury
  • Reviewing and approving appropriate medical treatment and working closely with internal and external healthcare professionals as part of their journey to recovery.

Qualifications:

We're looking for motivated new team members who also have:

  • Previous working experience in a customer service-based role, especially in fields/roles such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitlity, health/medical services, employment services, social work and allied health
  • Tertiary study within the Psychology, Legal, Social Work or Allied Health/Health Science disciplines (not essential)
  • Strong telephonebased conversational/communication skills, administrative skills and ability to learn and use systems/databases
  • Resilience
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a teamplayer attitude
  • An aptitude for working within a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment
