The Role


As a member of the Digital Experience team, and under the guidance of the Content Manager, the Digital Content Producer is responsible for managing the Memorial's social media accounts.

The role also involves website content development and publishing.


They will be able work flexibly in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, while ensuring the accuracy of content and attention to detail.


Core Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule and publish social media and website content consistent with the Memorial's Digital Engagement Strategy and Content Plan
  • Work effectively with multiple stakeholders to produce appropriate and engaging digital content strategies using analytics and evidencebased recommendations
  • Daily social media monitoring and responding to online questions from visitors, researchers and the general public
  • Social media and website evaluation, including regular reporting and interpretation of analytics
  • Edit and proofread a variety of content types, including social media posts, blogs, scripts and website articles
  • Support the delivery of the daily Last Post Ceremony live stream and other live stream events
Qualifications and/or experience in communications, marketing, journalism, media (or a related field) are essential. Experience working with digital content in a museum or government environment will be highly regarded.


This Non-Ongoing position will be filled on a Part Time basis of 3 days per week until 03 March 2023.
