You will be part of the GTS Secure Network Services Platform leadership team embedded within the GTS larger Team. We provide secure end-to-end technology services for the Bank.

Starting with understanding business requirements, leveraging standard patterns and developing patterns where needed, we build highly automated systems, engaging across the technology and architecture teams to ensure IT Services integrate and meet the Groups strategic direction.

As an Executive Manager - Secure Network Services **, you will be accountable for leading a team of Security & Network Engineers to drive excellence in security enforcement, network connectivity and automated engineering.

You will oversee engineering functions and be accountable for developing and executing strategy on the future of secure networks and automation, using the latest tools and technology in the market.

About you

Influential leader with a track record in mentoring, developing and inspiring high performing engineering teams
Experience in working across number of technical domains with the ability to 'deep dive'
Experience in building and operational management of secure network functions 24/7/36
Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
Experience in Agile methods at scale
Experience in multiple network and security domains i.e., Cloud (AWS & Azure), Palo Alto, Cisco and conformity to Cyber security controls
Experience in engineering and design leadership for engineers and team members
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Experience in driving systemic operational improvements
Foundational networking background is preferred
Demonstrable executive level stakeholder management and exceptional influencing skills
Experience in managing networks and security functions in complex enterprise environments
