About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a CSSD Aide.
You will be required to work both nights and days
About you:
You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Working with and assisting clinical staff
- Cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment
Essential criteria:
- Current knowledge and experience in cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical equipment is desirable
- Certificate III in Sterilisation will be highly regarded but experienced applicants without qualifications are still encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work as part of a highperforming team and independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Can do' attitude and good work ethic
- Experience working in a Sterilising Unit desirable but not essential
