Why Your Role Matters:


The Future Student Recruitment team has been established to strengthen marketing efforts, ensuring UNSW is the premier destination in the state for local students and the premier destination in the country for internationals.


The Digital Marketing Tech Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of digital marketing activity through marketing technology enhancements to maximise lead generation and enrolment conversion for Future Students internationally, ultimately responsible for achieving international enrolment targets across all faculties.


This role is critical for the successful delivery and implementation of foundational marketing automation campaigns and segmentation in CRM and Adobe.

The Digital Marketing Tech Specialist reports to the Digital Experience Manager and has no direct reports.


Who You Are:


  • A relevant degree with extensive experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.
  • Sound commercial acumen and understanding of digital sales and marketing performance levers, with an ability to plan and deliver complex work plans and review activity effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Experience working in a large, complex fastpaced organisation where conversion of prospective student interest is critical.
  • Sound people management skills with demonstrated experience in managing small team of direct reports.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of digital marketing automation tools (Click Dimensions, Adobe Campaign), analytics (Adobe Analytics), business performance reporting and visualisation (Power BI) other relevant tools.
  • Proven ability to lead a service delivery culture.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
