THE ROLE


We seek a VP of Sales to work alongside the Matific board to lead and implement the Matific sales strategy.

You will be responsible for acquiring and scaling key global partnerships as well as opportunities with governments and organizations around the world.

In addition, you will be required to build a world-class sales team that thinks globally and executes locally.

Given the scale-up nature of the company, you will need to be flexible and inventive in the delivery of your strategy.

This role is based out of our head office in Sydney CBD. There will be a requirement for travel.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying, nurturing and acquiring large partnerships and customers
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan in conjunction with the senior executive team
  • Nurture and manage a highperformance global sales team
  • Deliver to quarterly and annual targets. Set and manage forecasts
  • Develop channel opportunities with organisations and corporations
  • Identify opportunities, threats and challenges in markets and act accordingly
  • Work closely with marketing, data, product and other functions to succeed

Requirements:


  • Intelligent and driven individual
  • An open mind and ability to quickly adapt to new environments
  • A driving force that will nurture, push and drive success from teams
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills coupled to a growth mindset
  • Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not required
  • Experience selling into government is beneficial but not required
  • Experience in running a global sales team is beneficial but not required
