Role Details:

The Department for Child Protection is seeking a
Carer Payments Officer to join on a full-time term basis.


The role is responsible for:

  • Providing efficient administrative, data processing and information support services, focusing on ensuring quality standards are maintained in relation to placements and Carer Support Payments across the Statewide Out of Home Care System.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate records and notes on the Connected Client and Case Management System (C3MS) to facilitate timely Carer Support Payments Statewide.
  • Providing ranges of financial services and support to contribute to the effective operation of the Carers Payment program including account and invoice payment and processing.
  • Assisting with the effective information and system management of the Unit, including monitoring and verifying payment and carer data and records.

We are seeking an experienced administrator with an eye for detail. Your ability to use initiative in all aspects of your work will be beneficial to your success.

You will be a collaborative worker who relishes building and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, staff and stakeholders.
