The Opportunity:
We're currently looking for a GIS Lead to support Infrastructure projects across Southern Region and Nationally.

This is an exciting position that will see you developing and implementing cost effective, reliable, easy-to-use spatial tools and providing geospatial expertise across infrastructure projects and to help us enhance value in our operational activities.

You will be responsible for:

Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources;
Producing reports on geospatial data utilising ArcGIS data visualisation tools;
Assisting bid and delivery teams with scoping geospatial requirements and implementing strategies to meet contractual requirements with current and new GIS platforms;
Developing and utilising geospatial visualisation tools to enable Project Managers and Engineers to improve project staging and delivery efficiency, in addition to improving stakeholder understanding of project impacts and timelines;
Working with the GIS Manager, Engineering Manager and broader Digital Engineering team in the development, delivery and training of staff in the use of developed spatial tools.

What we need from you:

Relevant industry qualifications.
At least 10+ years' experience working on civil infrastructure projects and deploying solutions in an engineering and/or construction environment
Demonstrated Experience with FME to analyse, transform and present spatial data to support fieldwork and operational procedures
Fundamental understanding of data model schemas and data standards;
Understanding and ability to use Esri ArcGIS platforms linked to other businesscritical databases for data integration and visualisation;
Experience working across various disciplines and
Proven ability to communicate and demonstrate geospatial technologies and benefits to internal stakeholders.
