We're seeking someone who is a motivated, organised, and a technical thinker.

This role is ideal for a junior insurance broker/ Assistant Account Executive/ Account Executive (ideally with 1 to 3 years' experience) looking to take their skills to the next level.

You'll manage and service a portfolio of new and existing clients, providing high standards of service and advice.

In this role you will be managing an Affinity and Schemes Client Portfolio in all aspects of client service, including administration, technical support, and business development through the accurate, efficient, and timely production of all policy and related documentation.

We will count on you to:


  • Effective communicator: This is key to excellent client service and delivering on our client-first principles, so you will need to have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally in all situations.
  • Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.

Analytical: Analyse complex information, evaluate risk, and provide advice and solutions to clients.

  • Develop and maintain a sound technical understanding of all major classes of insurance and specialist services which the Company offers to its clients.
  • See the importance of details and getting the small things right: A high level of attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy in policy documentation, as well as for identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation.

What you need to have:


  • RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification highly desirable.
  • Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role highly desirable
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Developed negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
  • Client Service excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
  • Change awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory, and social factors affecting company and clients' operations and business and knowledge of internal company technological and product capabilities.
  • Commercial Acumen an indepth understanding of factors impacting on the delivery of services by the Company.
  • Planning and Organization development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time.
  • Drive & Self-Motivation demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently
