Full-time temporary up to 12 months

The objective of this position is to train the registrar to become a genetic pathologist in the Metabolic or Genomic Pathology stream according to RCPA training program.

The Registrar will rotate through a series of placements designed to give exposure to a comprehensive range of genetic pathology services, while contributing to the provision of diagnostic and clinical services.

The Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and participate in research projects within the directorate.

Educational/Vocational Qualifications

Bachelor or Medicine:

Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
