About the role
As the Business Services Support Officer, you will be a part of a small and collaborative team responsible for providing:

  • efficient and effective administrative and customer support services across the department
- report production services that deliver high quality reports to Parliament.

Salary
$57,842 - $62,221 pa (ASO2 classification level) plus 11% superannnuation


About you


You will need to genuinely enjoy providing customer service to internal and external clients with a can-do attitude, willing to learn new things and be adaptable.

- well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- excellent organisation and time management skills
- advanced skills and experience in MS Word
- intermediate knowledge and experience in the use of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- accuracy and attention to detail in presenting written communication materials
- a good eye for how graphics and text will look to create pages that are visually appealing, legible and easy to read.


Essential requirements

  • Be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of applying.

Specific requirements

  • Required to participate in a roster to cover business operations between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
  • Flexible work arrangements (including work from home) are available, however the roster requirements include some scheduled in office days.
  • Significant out of hours work will be required during the annual report production period (August and September) and some work outside normal hours may be required at other time. Generally leave cannot be taken during August to September.
