BGIS is experiencing strong company growth and requires an experienced
Maintenance Manager **to join our team.


Role:


We are currently looking for a
Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating direct delivery and/or specialist 3rd party vendors in the delivery of system maintenance and operations within a private health environment.


As part of the Engineering Team, the role will maintain accurate system management data and statistics from detailed asset analysis and coordination with various business stakeholders.


You will supervise technical delivery within a Network of properties and, at times, undertake engineering tasks in conjunction with the delivery team.


Responsibilities:


  • Liaising and managing subcontractors and vendors on site
  • Experience managing trades (HVAC, Elec, Plumbing, Carpentry, Fire)
  • Attending sites at the relevant priority time frame
  • Assisting with maintenance works depending on trade experience
  • Provide cost estimates and quotes for works
  • Undertake system and asset verification tests
  • Operation and recovery of all business systems in the event of failure
  • Produce accurate survey, measurement and calculated data to manage environments, including operating theatres
  • Create 3rd Party quality maintenance audit process and implement it.
  • Manage the attendance of 3rd party maintenance vendors on site.
  • Coordinate building shutdowns and engineering testing
  • Manage weekly and monthly infrastructure and asset testing.
  • Record building energy usage and effectively manage assets to reduce energy consumption
  • Undertake system and asset verification tests
as may be required.

  • Maintain an accurate database of all installed essential and statutory building assets

Skills and Experience:


  • Certificate III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32211)
  • Certificate III in Engineering
  • Mechanical Trade (MEM30205)
  • Indepth Knowledge of the Property & Facilities Management industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Healthcare Environments.
  • Sound technical and environmental awareness.
  • Senior Technical role over the last 5 years
  • UPS and Standby generator systems
  • Complex Building Management Systems.
  • Trade license and experience in Plumbing, Building, Electrical or HVAC
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities
  • Highlevel written and verbal communication skills
  • Drivers license
  • White Card
